Dr. Brandon Day, a NOLA native, has traveled to Texas in pursuit of following his childhood dream of caring for animals. He grew up in a household filled with joy, laughter, and drool that only German Shepherds are known to bring. His commitment to fostering healthy human-animal bonds paved the way for him to become a veterinarian. He graduated from Louisiana State University with Bachelor’s in Animal Science and went on to obtain his Associate’s in Veterinary Technology. After strengthening his skillsets as a Veterinary Technician, Dr. Day was later accepted into the LSU College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with his Doctorate’s in 2018.
In June 2019, Dr. Day made the move to Houston from Baton Rouge to join our team at Garden Oaks Veterinary Clinic. He is excited to work under the mentorship of Dr. Chmaitelli and looks forward to building relationships with our clients and patients in this new journey.
Outside of being a veterinarian and pet lover, Dr. Day enjoys spending time on the basketball court, and sports are usually the topic of most conversations (he will always be a Pelicans and Saints fan, no matter the distance!). He loves to travel and values health and fitness.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his three dogs, Jrue , Kyle, and Louie.
